PostgreSQL upgrades for opal3, opal14, opal9, and opal16

On Friday 17 May 2024 at 0200 UTC the PostgreSQL database will be upgraded from version 11 to version 14 on the following servers:

  • opal3
  • opal14
  • opal9
  • opal16

We expect the PostgreSQL service to be offline for approximately 1 hour during the upgrade, all other services will continue to function normally.

Web: Dallas intermittent connectivity problems on opal4

Opal4 is experiencing intermittent connectivity problems following this morning's scheduled maintenance. The data center team is investigating.

  • Opal4 is stable.

  • Opal4 is back online. The data center team believed that the connectivity issue was caused by a configuration problem which they corrected

    We will continue to monitor.

  • Opal4 is being rebooted at this time.
